Installed on my van 6.0, I am unsure why I waited so long to do this! Made a great difference in drivability, boost comes in sooner and pulls much smoother. This should be the absolute first modification for any 6.0 owner. 100% a 5 star product.
I was doing my oil cooler so the intake manifold needed to come out anyway. I figured that the heck, people say it wont do anything buy help the truck. Overall I am satisfied after install. EGT dropped about 150 degrees under heavy load, turbo spool time decreased (I have a new 03 turbo, which now spools like a 05+), less smoke, and overall better throttle response throughout the power band. If you can spare the extra $, do it.
I was looking to lower my EGT’s for towing my tuner recommended to get this intake and let me tell you what. My tuner was correct it lowered my egt’s so I can go up the big mountain passes in Colorado without having to worry about my egt’s shooting through the roof 10/10 will be buying one for all my 6.0s
This was a significant upgrade! Throttle response and turbo spooling is much quicker! One thing to make sure of is to check the idler pulley rubbing on the intake, but a washer takes care of this issue. Otherwise awesome product!!!
